Residenza Rialto - Venedik

The room was a perfect retreat for our young family from the heat and crowds of Venice in August. The landlady was very friendly and really helpful and the facilities are really first class, the fresh fruit and breakfast/lunch items were also a really great touch. Proper Italian coffee on tap too. Highly recommended!

Almost everything. It exceeds our expectations. the room is beautiful and is overlooking the canal. The service is fantastic.

Good concept: rooms with shared kitchen facilities and wonderful terrace overlooking Canal Grande. Very service minded host. Perfect location!!!

THe amount of stairs that we had to climb to get to the actual B and B, however we were fortunate that he helped us with our luggage.

B&B Rialto is an amazing property, set smack bang on the Grand Canal, and perched above the Rialto Markets (fresh fruit and veg and seafood). Its is withn walking distance of San Marco Square, Train station and an overwhelming array of boutiques and cafes. The staff are pleasant and helpful and keep the property extremely clean. Each room is blessed with a tray in the fridge with juice, milk, cheese, yoghurt, eggs and a bread and cake basket. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking 'at home'. The room (downstairs not view) was spacious, air conditioned and comfortable. All in all, the perfect stay in Venice, overlooking the water from the terrace.

For us, everything was perfect.

This place was fantastic. The view from the bedroom was straight onto the grand canal and the room was much bigger than I first thought. Michael the host was one of the most charming people that you could meet and made our stay very comfortable. The little patio made for a good afternoon drink while meeting the other travelers. We found the location very easy and quiter with only a couple of minutes walk to the rialto bridge.

The only downside is 1 bathroom and toliet for 3 rooms or 6 people which is busy in the mornings however totally workable. Also the building is about 20 metres away from the fish market so if you can handle the fish smell walking there that is the only downside.

I'm from china. I'm studying in London. This is the first time to visit Venice. Have to say, the hotel is quite great that make us really enjoyable and unforgettable !!! I hope come back as soon as possible! There is a seafood market just outside of the building.u can buy them in the morning and cook urself. Feeling good when we r eating in the balcony. Anyway,the best b&b hotel I ve ever live in. Cant miss it!!! Remember u'd better go there by boat from train station in 5 minutes, if u wanna walk, that will cost u 20 mis and hard to find. So enjoy!

Perfect location on the edge of the Grand Canal. Room air conditioning was amazing. Comfortable, clean, with a great bonus of a well-stocked kitchen, with a lovely espresso machine. Bathroom clean and easy to use. Friendly staff.

The only thing we didn't really like was having to share a bathroom, but that is a minor flaw. The flights of stairs to the B&B could deter some people but for us is was fine. Staff could o with just a little more knowledge of English, but I appreciate we are in Italy and we should probably know more Italian!

The owners were very accomodating & hospitable. It felt like being home away from home. There was a beautiful view from the common terrace.

It was a little too close to the market, so early in the morning there was quite a bit of commotion outdoors.

very clean rooms. comfortable. great location and view. Morning breakfast was fantastic. Service was great! I broke my key off in the door and within an hour, we had a new one!

The place is new and it extremely nice. The room was big, everything was new and every detail was very tasteful. Excelent breakfast (in quantity and quality). The bathroom was shared but extremely nice too, and very big. The staff (the owner) was very friendly and nice. The location is good too, not very centric but close to the Piazza San Marco; very close to the Ponte di Rialto, near the fish and fruit market. It has a very nice kitchen you can use to make yourself a coffee or whatever you want, you can even take some wine or other more expensive sutff with a trust based system, you just leave the ammount of money that you think is fair in a can when you take something. You can have the breakfast in a very nice dinning room.

I would say nothing if we hadn't some problems communicating with the staff. The problem is, the B&B is like a house attended just by it's owner, and when she leave the house, there is nobody there. When we arrived there was nobody there and we had to wait a fair ammount of time, which was really upsetting. In case you have the same problem, you can find a public payphone in the Rialto station to call the owner (Adriana if I remember correclty). It took us a lot of time to find a way to get in touch with her. I hope they can solve this problem soon, as it probly one of the nicest places I've ever been.

No fresh bread, apparently italian law only allows packed food as breakfast (?)

The host/owner was very good at updating us with transport details prior to our arrival and was a very good host upon our arrival. Offered a friendly and personal service during our stay. The location was perfect as it was a short stroll to everywhere & is positioned overlooking the canal. Would be happy to stay there again.
